I've been wearing my fit-bit and not working out and my daily stats are:
19th: 3119 calories burned
18th: 2996 calories burned
17th: 3237 calories burned
16th: 3381 calories burned
15th: 2340 calories burned (not a full day as it's the day I got it)
so as we can all clearly see I burn a tonne of calories with my job and chasing a 2yr old and housework so imagine when I ignite the fire that is turbo fire!! Well really now that I know what I know what's my excuse?? In the last week I've "treated" myself to some foods that I've had a hankering for and the sushi wasn't as nice as I remembered, neither were the curly fries, the caramel choc bikkies were yum though, but yeah all those foods just weren't what my taste-buds wanted so an end I say. I'm thinking of having a weekend of drinking shakes to get my vitamin levels up if nothing else, but also to get a kick start back into smaller portions. That's my biggest problem, that and eating at other people's houses. My mum makes the most amazing food and whenever I go there we always have heaps and then dessert (boredom eating though as when visiting other than conversation we don't do a lot). So an end to that I say and I can't wait. My Saturday plan is to get up when Troy leaves for work and workout, do some housework, and then when Poppy wakes go for a walk, do the gardens (landlord bringing someone through Sunday! UGH!) and then I'm going to de-clutter wardrobes, the car, throw some of our garage trash away and utilise the draws in my bedroom better, I found 5 empty draws in my room which could be housing stuff that doesn't need to be visible!! I'm sick of having a messy unorganised house. I'm working on flylady strategies of do a little every day and you know what I've done a load of dishes a day and currently I have just the plates from dinner waiting and the only reason for that is because I'd just done a load before dinner, and compared to previously which was like a mountain of dishes (due to our arrangement that i'd do fiddly stuff if Troy washed plates: well that never happened and I'm just sucking it up and doing them all) my bench is clear, and each day I wipe it down as it only takes a few seconds if you do it daily. I've also not had an out of control washing pile as i'm doing a load a day of washing too and then putting it back in the draws. It's great, my toilet is never dirty as I wipe it down and use the brush in the bowl daily and I keep a sponge in the bathroom and after every shower I wipe the bathroom down so my bathroom is never dirty! The bathroom cupboard is another place I could be storing stuff as it doesnt have much in it. I'm going to haul stuff out of the top cupboard in the hallway as everything is just tossed in there and every time I go to put something in there I fear for my life that the poker chip set in its metal case might fall on my head! So there ya go, lots to do and I can't wait. It's time to grow up and get some stuff done! I'm even going to throw some stuff away/give it away but SHHH don't tell hubby cos he's a worse hoarder than me!!
