A bobble

Wednesday, July 18, 2012

Today I was surprised that I had a "bobble" It was a quick thing. I bought lunch for the guys and one didn't want his full deal but of course it was cheaper to buy it than separately. So, I bought it and before I knew it I ate the tater tots. I know better and how awful they are. It was a spur of the moment non thinking eating thing. I don't have many of those events so it surprised me that I didn't stop myself.

But, I got back on the next meal. I wanted to admit my "bobble" for the day.

Tomorrow will be a better day.

You have to allow for some slack in your diet. If you liked the taste and enjoyed eating them then it was not a bad think. If you ate them because they were there, that is another story. Today I had a Greek omelet and hash browns for breakfast. Was it more calories than I needed at one meal? yes. Did I enjoy it? yes By having it count as 2 meals and having a light dinner, I stayed within calories. I very much enjoyed my breakfast and will probably not have another restaurant breakfast for a long time. One day does not derail me. Have a great day!

You can do it. It's just a little bump on the road to your victory.

I had one of those, too. I had my 2-year old GD, and gave her an Oreo just before we were going to pick her sister up from art camp. I was going out the door, and had a cookie for Kaysiana when we pick her up. I had to lock the door, coordinate the baby carseat, and not break the Oreo. I put it in my lips while locking the door.

Well, my body knows what to do when I put a cookie in my mouth! I was chewing it before I realized it. Needless to say, the 6 year old didn't get her cookie. But she didn't know she was supposed to get one, so it was ok.

It was good, though!

(Glad you are getting back to your quilting!)
