So far, I'm really happy about sticking to my commitment for exercise this summer

My plan: 10 minutes of exercise a day. Monday, Wednesday, Friday: circuit training. Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday: Run. Saturday is a rest day but I usually stretch/do yoga or pilates/take a walk. It's an active rest day.
I felt like I needed to ensure success by planning ahead (making sure I had everything I needed--time, equipment), staying consistent (working out every day for at least 10 minutes), and sticking to goals (my workout schedule).

Planning ahead: I have been ensuring that I have everything I need ready. I make sure I have workout clothes/sport bra/arm band for phone to track workout/socks/shoes ready. If I know that I want to run and my friend is also going to be running, I have been making a plan beforehand so that I have remained consistent and stuck to my exercise streak since April 21 but I only started tracking my streak on SP in May.

Consistency: every day I do something active. Even if it's just ten minutes. Most days it's more but the ten minute rule is helping me stay consistent

Sticking to goals: If I say that Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday are run days I run on those days.
If I say that Monday, Wednesday and Friday are circuit training/ST days I stick to those days. This week I committed to doing 3 days of circuit/ST. The past few weeks I've been doing 2 days of ST.
I am seeing more muscle tone, definition in my legs (from running, lunges, squats) and arms from ST. My middle is where I'd like to see more definition...
Some future goals are races I have coming up.
To keep my running fresh, fun, exciting and something to continue to keep me motivated,

I am doing several 5ks,

The SP virtual 10k (week of July 29)

A 15k (didn't know that existed!) in November,

Two half marathons in December and January

And a full marathon (though I have not fully committed to that...yet!)
I am 5 lb above my goal weight I reached last summer. I am happy with my weight and fitness level. I would like to continue with my plan, running, ST, dancing, pilates, yoga, and see if I remain consistent that it will give me results...toning (maybe losing these 5 lbs that have crept up on me...no, actually they didn't creep up...I invited them by slacking off on exercising (like, totally slacking off, for days, sometimes weeks at a time) and eating too much (consistently well above my range for a long period).
I've found something that really works. 10 minutes a day. I don't want to break that streak. I joined the 10 minute a day Spark Team and I track my minutes on my goals page. That has REALLY kept me motivated. Every day I track 10 minutes and then start my workout. I almost always exceed it. But that is enough to get me started. And I always feel great after. NEVER regret a workout.
