Saint Quote of the day and UPDATE ON MARK

Wednesday, July 18, 2012

It is not man that causes the things offered to become the Body and Blood of Christ, but He who was crucified for us, Christ Himself. The priest, in the role of Christ, pronounces these words, but their Power and Grace are God's. This is my body, He says. This word transforms the things offered.

-- Saint John Chrysostom

Mark is improving each day breathing on his own and has a fracture back to what extent we dont know he is on heavy pain killers they want to cut it down to see if he can stand and walk

Praying for Mark! Just take it easy, you can't rush back injuries. Remember, the goals to be able to stand and walk, to have feeling in the legs, and normal bowel function. One day at a time!

Breathing on his own is good... I hope the fracture is just that and not very damaging. I'll continue to pray that he will be healed completely and quickly. I pray for strength for his family. May God wrap them in His arms and guide them, as well as his physicians. Things are sounding better, but it will still be a long road back to healthy. With God ALL things are possible! He has a plan!
