Today I got up early with the boy (well, I do that every day!) and went into school when he left for work. I finished unpacking and organizing what I can until the cleaners finish our rooms tomorrow and got a number of things printed that I needed to be able to do some planning. Then I left and had lunch with the boy, came home, took a glorious nap, then had a great run and did an arm / upper body workout.
Lunch... not the best. We went out for gyros (ohmygosh yum! I've been craving them for so long, too!) and I had fries. But so far I'm still good with calories, although it's not the best balance of stuff today. Tonight's dinner will be heavy on veggies, since I haven't had any (oops) all day. I find it interesting that I'm craving them now, especially since I haven't had them today. Love that.
I have been doing my own thing with regards to strength training. I finished the two weeks of the Prevention one and didn't love it enough to keep going. So I've been searching through SP's exercises and finding ones I can do at home with what I have, and although it's only been two days, it's working for me. My plan is to switch - core, upper body, lower body, and rotate each day. Sundays is my day "off." If I can find a good set of exercises that I like and that only take about 10 minutes to do, even I can stick with that! At the end of the two weeks on the other workout plan, I was *just* starting to notice some slight toning in my arms and legs. Now let's get that to move from "slight" to "oh my goodness - so THAT'S what muscle looks like!!" :)
Off to rustle up a big bowl of veggies for my dinner! :)
