CHALLENGE - Clean a Room or Corner

Tuesday, July 17, 2012

I'm challenging you all to pick one corner or room of your house that needs to be cleaned and do it by Friday. To go all out, take some before pictures or a video.. and after ones, too. This was something I was going to do alone and then Suzy (CKensington) challenged me to do this with her so we can both get it done. I am opening this to challenge all of you to do it with us. :) This is much like my Babystep Brigade Team!

This is my BEFORE video of the messiest spots in my house. It's pretty awful.. I mean messy now. Ugh!!

Suzy, I can do it. So can you!
Can anyone else do it, too?

Good Luck Angel! It's liberating to get rid of these things that no longer serve us! And it's very brave to share you mess. I do have one closet that needs cleaning out. It's the coat closet and it tends to catch junk in the floor and the shelf. I'd like to clean that out and put a small shelving unit in there. You've gotten me inspired! Thanks Angel!

Hey Angel! I tried to make a video...I actually did make one on my phone but can't get it to my computer. How lame am I.

But, I like yours! I didn't get home till after 930 so no garage work tonight, but I scoped it out and made a plan of attack. Its days are numbered, let me tell you. It is very nervous. I can tell just by looking at it. Come Friday, I will be wanting to hang out there instead of the living room!

Thanks for doing this - I have been taking needling from my friends about this garage for....well, a long time. Since last summer for sure.

Thank you for this! I was actually fixing to take every thing off and scrub my kitchen counters really good (something I haven't done in awhile).

It is so funny that you just posted this.. because I have been cleaning in my son's messy room for an hour and I just came on Spark to take a little break from cleaning. My challenge to myself this week was to get my children's rooms, my room, and all of our closets cleaned!! I usually keep the kitchen, living, and dining area clean and keep all of the messes in our rooms behind closed doors. .. and the messes keep getting bigger and bigger behind those closed doors of mine :)

Especially since I have started Sparking I have let our rooms get out of control. The time I use to spend before cleaning I now spend exercising or cooking more. I can't put off our bedrooms any longer!

Way to go, Angel! I will take a few pictures as I go :)
