First, I am currently on vacation visiting family. Having a pretty fabulous time, I must say. I've seen all of my siblings, my parents and many of my friends from High School and College. Life is good. It was made even better by yesterday's outing!

I was visiting my sister, checking out her new apartment and new neighborhood. And then we came across the best feature....The used bookstore down the block!! YEAH! Both being book nerds, we immediately headed inside. So, the first bit of fun was the bookstore itself. I LOVE used bookstores!!!
The second bit of fun, was finding the HUGE cookbook section. Since I have been teaching myself to cook, cookbooks have become my thing. I managed to find not 1, not 2 but 3 really great, healthy cookbooks!!!! SOOOOO excited to try them out when I get back home next week!!!
I also found another a cool 4th book (nothing to do with cooking). All 4 of my fabulous books for only $6. What a deal!!!!

So, I had a great day with my sister. Got 3 new cookbooks, 1 fiction book, and saw a beautiful area down by the lake. A great day!
Sometimes it is the simple things that make you smile!
