spark team challenges

Tuesday, July 17, 2012

I have to admit my fitness and nutrition routine was on auto pilot. So I am taking full advantage of my teams summer challenges. It is a great way to stay motivated emoticon

Spark is all about supporting each other and I love that about the challenges!! i am trying to get better at tracking and encouraging team mates. Time restrictions sometimes don't allow that. But just knowing my emoticon's are cheering me on helps me stay focused!!

This Saturday is my 28th wedding anniversary emoticon and to celebrate hubby and I are doing a emoticon I am not your typical flowers and fancy restaurant kind of wife...so I am looking forward to this fun way of celebrating. We strictly walk...which is so sweet of my husband. I thought I could try jogging again, but I have low back issues due to spinal meningitis years ago. So he happily walks at my pace emoticon which given the fact he has always been very athletic and competitive is quite a sacrifice!!

emoticonto all my emoticon's for all your encouragement!!

I will update you next week about our anniversary walk!!

Pray that your day Saturday is beautiful. Your hubby sounds a lot like mine. For his recreation he plays roller hockey regularly with a league. Fortunately he also walks with me.

I'm so glad you are enjoying the challenges. I know they have kept me going for over a year and a half now. There were a lot of times I wanted to just quit because I wasn't seeing results, but I wanted to finish the challenge; and then there was another one as soon as that one was finished.
That is so great that your husband walks with you. Our exciting plans usually involve hiking. It is a struggle for my husband with his arthritis, but he won't quit living just because it hurts. Hope you have a really great weekend.
