Wow!
Yes I have been on Sparkpeople for just over 5 years! Thank you to Sparkguy, his team and all of you guys here on Spark. Over the years no matter how down or defeated or how much on a high and I want to shout my achievements I know I can post it here and get support and cheers!
Over the past five years I lost 30 pounds, did a triathlon, injured my ankle, knee and back.I have learnt to enjoy swimming 1 km for fun. I can ride 20 km in an hour but still struggle to run. Gained back 20 pounds and just lost it again.
Went from size 20- 22 clothes to 10-14 size clothes. I thought that once I reached a certain size that I could stop tracking food and exercise. Apparently I am not there yet. Maybe one day.
Right now I am on a one year journey to lose one pound a week. I am excited and scared of what I will look like next March. I realized that if I spent 5 years on and off on Sparkpeople then I can commit for 1 year continuously and hopefully really make this a lifestyle change instead of doing this stuff for a while.
