For those of you who followed the rock music scene in the 60's and 70's, you may have read on Monday 7/16 that Deep Purple co-founder Jon Lord (keyboards) passed away. Since I have been a long time DP fan, this one hurts just a bit more, but given his condition (pancreatic cancer), I am glad he has been relieved of his pain and is free to wail away on his Hammond organ in the great beyond!
