Since I am about to start a major renovation of my kitchen, I've been hesitant to post a plan, due to the uncertainty of how much time I'll have to work out (it's been very, very limited as I've been preparing to pack up 4 rooms worth of STUFF) or what I'll be able to cook with the limited prep area and tools that I'll have available. However, failing to plan means planning to fail, so here's what I'm going to endeavor to do to protect myself from falling into the trap that I did during the last break:
-- I joined SAC, which should help me stay on track.
-- Bought a new grill (for DH -- that's my story and I'm sticking to it!
), so we can make use of the courtyard (the only cooking/eating place that will be available in our house for awhile) and will plan our grilling so that we cook multiple days' worth of chicken, fish, and turkey burgers. Will keep up my freggie intake with green smoothies and microwaved vegetables. I also have a couple of fans, tiki torches, and plan to set up a mister to make the Texas summer days a little more bearable during this period.
-- Will try to maintain some semblance of an exercise schedule (wogging 3 miles or more 1-3 times a week, boot camp on Saturdays, maybe some water aerobics, get to the gym, and do some ST at home).
-- This time I will NOT -- I repeat NOT!!! -- treat the break as a break from my routine! I will NOT give myself license to eat all the junk I had been avoiding, and I will be a faithful friend on the Bombshell thread and my new SAC team.
I hope this does the trick, and that I can get back in gear and start losing weight again. I know I can do it, because I'm a blazing Bombshell!!!
