1. What goals are you setting for this challenge (if you’re following the structure I have laid out for you, you are setting a self-love, nutrition, and fitness goal)? Why did you choose these goals? What do these goals mean to you?
My self-love goal is to do my make up and hair during the work week. My nutrition goals are to make healthy food choices and stay within my calorie range each day. My fitness goal is to complete the spark people rookie running program. Only 3 weeks left to go. Also on days when I am not running I will complete a strength training workout. I chose these goals because even though they seem easy enough they are still goals that are a challenge to me. These goals mean a lot to me and I know if I stay focused I can meet my goal weight.
2. Why did you choose to participate in this challenge? At the end of these 15 days, what do you hope to accomplish? What do you want to feel like? What is going to tell you that you are headed in the right direction during this challenge?
I chose to participate in this challenge because I need a program to keep me focused and I am hoping to meet some people in the same boat as me that we can help and motivate each other. At the end of this 15 day challenge I hope to have a good plan established on how I am going to meet my final goal. I want to feel healthy, energized and confident. The only way I am going to feel like I am heading in the right direction is if I put in the time and I do the work. When I complete a workout I will know I am one step closer to my goals.
3. What is going to be different when it comes to how you approach your weight loss this time?
I know I am going to have to change my eating habits and I know I am going to have to work out. There isn't a magic pill or potion that is going to get me to where I want to be. Only I can make these changes and I know that if I want to start a family soon I am going to have to get the weight off for good.
Here's to fresh starts!!!
