It's been too hot recently and I've been too lazy to go to the grocery store, so it's been difficult to eat healthy. But I finally went today and bought some ingredients to make this recipe for Summer Vegetable Crepes:

I've made it before with cucumbers in place of zucchini, and they were great. :) One crepe is filling enough if you serve these with a side salad.
Cherries were on sale for $1.98/lb and blueberries were $1.33/pint, so I *had* to get those! And the usual bananas and [Braeburn] apples, so I've got a decent assortment of fruits for the week. :) At some point, I'll make split pea soup (with diced ham) in the slowcooker, and that should cover most of my meals for the rest of the week...
Until this weekend, when I travel to Spokane for a friend's wedding! This will be my third trip to the West Coast and my very first to the state of Washington!
Anyway, I decided that since the weather was nice, I would dress up for the day.
[Why does SP shrink images so much?!?!]
In other news, I bought this "Poplin Cargo Crop Pant" from Victoria's Secret (with a free shipping + 20% + $10 certificate):
The fit is *much* tighter than the Pencil Pant that I ordered in previous entries, even though the size is the same. I can only get it buttoned up on a day that I'm not bloated... and of course, the thigh area is a little baggy because my curves are in all the wrong places. Oh well.
That's all for now!
