Week 9 on SP

Hello, Fellow Sparkies,
Oh dear, it's been a while since I've posted on my blog. Hope everyone is surviving the heat & managing to enjoy the Summer. It's been quite a roller coaster ride diet & exercise wise for me these last few weeks. Despite all of that, I have logged on to SP everyday. At least I'm staying consistent & making slow & steady progress. I'm not where I thought I be by now, but I refuse to give up.
I'm already on week 9 on my C25K training & I'm able to run longer & farther than the previous weeks & I do feel excited! However, some days, I feel like I'm stuck on week 1 & not making any progress. I am going insane? Most of these last few weeks I have felt that way. :( The heat wave hasn't helped matters, either. I am a bit daunted that my first 5K is 69 days away...will I be able to meet my finish time? UGH!!! Also signed up for the SP 1 mile virtual race in a few weeks...Chin up, I guess. Positive mental attitude & my dear Spark friends should help. Reading "The Spark" has kept my "spark" from burning out, too. "Just keep swimming" (from Finding Nemo) is what my daughter likes to tell me.
