So sad.

Sunday, July 15, 2012

Ya know yesterday I woke up and poured a small bowl of cereal and some soy milk. Half way through eating I realized that the milk was sour...I also noticed what I thought were small bugs (like moths that get in flour etc.) in the bowl--wanna hear the really sad part? I continued eating it until the bowl was empty. That is how hungry I was. lol...
Oh well my husband and I agreed that its all protein anyway heh heh.

mmmmm yummy! I couldn't have done it! I would have grossed myself out and lost all my breakfast. I guess I will not get the extra protein! LOL! I would starve in other countries where bugs are eaten all the time!

Those are weevils that get in the flour. In fact, there is a certain amount of bugs that they allow in grains since they can't get all of them out. Also, that applies to BEER production. We got a video from the library about how beer was made at A.Bush in St. Louis, and it was SO interesting. They were perfectionist about quality as they didn't want one unhappy customer to spread bad comments about their beer.
