Had a great time taking part in Dave's Ride. The latter was a beloved pastor and bike enthusiast who lost his life in a biking tragedy. Had never done this ride, but surely will added to my yearly "rides to do" list. I did the 70-miler and it turned out to be quite the challenge. Numerous climbs, tough roads, and hot weather made for a tough ride. The goal for the ride was to go below 4 hours and we did just that, 3:58. Met some super folks at the after-ride feast (threw calorie count out the window). Overall, a super ride. When I arrived home, I skipped the weekly weigh-in and just reflected on the day's great start HOOAAA!!

Who needs calorie counting and regular or irregular weigh ins when you pack so much exercise in a day (and so much fun!)

emoticon I really want to do a group ride. I can't get anyone to sign up with me. I might just have to do it on my own! Sounds like you had a great time.
