I Think I Have Flipped the Sweat Switch!

Saturday, July 14, 2012

So I know this might sound crazy, but I have never REALLY been able to sweat. I mean the kind of sweat that just drips and leaves your socks and underwear drenched. Yeah, I know that's gross, but THAT has never happened to me.

I mean I get hot and sweat, but it's mostly beads that just kinda run a bit, and my face turns beat red (sometimes purple). I'd even get a little a sticky, but I'd never just pour sweat . I've noticed recently that I'm sweating more, but the funny thing is that I haven't changed a lot. I've worked out in the gym, jogged, you name it, but whatever I'm doing now, is really working when it comes to sweating, and WOW does it feel GREAT! I am cooling down faster than i used too. It used to take me half a day to cool day (seriously), and that is with drinking water as well. I used to walk around with a red face all day once I got that hot, but now I feel NORMAL! Ok, well I feel as normal as I can emoticon.

Yesterday I noticed it big time, I got up danced, did some Pilates, and stair climbing. I was pretty sweaty by the then, and late afternoon I did Jillian Michael's 30 day shred, that kicked my sweat into OVERDRIVE. I didn't stop sweating till I took a cool bath that night. I even was sweating while washing dishes (weird). I flipped the switch and now it's hard to shut off. I don't know what's caused it, but I hope it continues, it gets old doing a minimal workout and feeling like your head is going to explode, not to mention when people see you and say things like " You better sit down and rest." ,then I have to say "I'm fine, just a little hot.". I'd turn so red people thought that I'd have a heart attack or stroke.

True Story, when I was about 6 or 7, and already quite overweight, our class had to go on a 5 mile . hike up to one of highest points in West TN, known as Pilot Knob at Nathan Bedford Forrest Stat Park. The hike started out fun, because I liked outdoors, but being that I was so out of shape, the little fat kid, could hardly handle it. By the time I reached the top, I nearly had a heat stroke, and teachers had to tend to me while all the other kids were having a big good time watching a movie in the museum. It is one of those things that you never forget.

I remember this wooded area very well. emoticon

Me, around that time.

That's not the only time I was in that situation; although, it probably was the worst. Actually one of my goals is to back and do that hike again, and maybe even do a bigger hike.

That kind of gives you an idea of how this not sweating thing is a problem, it's also hereditary because my Mom is the same way.

So anyway, I'm hoping that I keep sweating like this, for whatever reason is causing it. Funny thing is that I LOVE to sweat now, it feels so GOOD! Yeah I'm a total freak!

LOVIN' THIS SWEATIN'!!!

Now, I can't blog without some sweat motivation can I?....

This one always makes me smile

I can't help it, I have a thing for cats!

My most recent. If you look cute after working out, then you didn't workout hard enough! This pic proves that!

Too funny, sweat is fat crying and sweat is the cologne of weight loss!!!! Good for you for getting your sweat on. I sweat and the more you get into your workouts and consume water the more you'll begin to sweat in various places. My goal at one point was to see the sweat ring around my t-shirt --- now it's a normal thing when I put the work in. Great job emoticon

Being drenched in sweat to your undies isn't gross.. it's freakin' awesome! I never had done it before either. :) I love it that it happened to you! YAY!!!! That just means that your body is on over-drive to cool itself off because you are LAVA on the inside, girl!!! YAYYYYY!!! You know, it's because you are mixing it up and your body is all freaked out and like "What The Heck!?" lol

I'm totally with you though, babe. I LOVE the feeling of the sweat pouring off of me. It actually drives me even harder, faster, further! Yesssss! The other day, I felt it coming off of my legs and I just giggled.. 'cause I felt so freakin' awesome! :) YAY!!!!

One girl here on SP said that when she sweats, she is "melting butter".. HAHA!!

    You freakin' GO GIRL!!! XOXO
