We've had so many years of drought, we're finally getting a little rain here in New Mexico. Strange, huh?

Indiana is the same! Kind of funny if you ask me! You always here people say if you don't like the weather in Indiana wait around 5 mins it will change! NOT THIS SUMMER!

We did get a little rain (5-10) Sat. But no puddles! It dried up so fast!

Virginia, is having extreme weather, as well! Triple digits, last week. Got a little break, this week, but next week, upper 90's. The humidity, makes it stifling!

Here is to some cooler wetter days. emoticon emoticon emoticon (that would be my rain dance)

Unfortunately, much of the midwest is going through a horrible drought and heatwave this summer season. I was reading a news report on the corn crop that was just frightening. there's no rain for the crops.

Everyone is in a drought, but some states have it worse than others.

Hopefully this heat wave will end soon and people will get the rain they need.

I just walked to the mailbox in my bare feet and it hurt to walk on the grass. That's how dead it is! Just about burned my calluses off walking on the hot pavement.

Please, please...I love the sun but we need RAIN! emoticon

I am in East Central Illinois and we, like you have drought conditions, but we did get some rain today and it is clouding up again. Thank God. The only thing that has kept my garden alive is pumping the water from the bathtub and washer out to trash cans and then I dip and carry it out to the different plants. I am building up arm muscles.
I pray that some rain comes your way

I am sitting here on my deck listening to a thunderstorm getting closer. I so hope it brings rain with it. Here in Vermont we have not had rain in over a week...and that is very unusual for us. Temps in the 90's all week. Also unusual. Mother Nature is keeping us flexible.

I know it is hot & dry. I too live in Michigan, we were driving through St. Louis, MI yesterday & it was pouring. We would have loved to see that here in Muskegon.
