We enjoyed a quick ride on the Merrimac Ferry as an alternate route to Devil's Lake.
We went hiking at Devil's Lake on June before the drought. Great view!
A visit to Parfrey's Glen was so beautiful!
On June 16 was Cottage Grove's Fireman's Festival where we ran a 5K. They had a great parade after our run.
On June 20 we enjoyed a visit to the Wisconsin Dells and the Wisconsin Opry. We posed in front of an amphibious vehicle (Duck). The Opry was a great country music show, we were among the younger ones in the crowd.
Our trip to Manitowoc and Two Rivers was great fun. We saw the schooner Denis Sullivan from the breakwater lighthouse.
Rode our bike on the Mariner's Trail between the two cities.
In Two Rivers we saw Rogers St. Fishing Village.
Saw a Classic Car Show.
And enjoyed ice cream at Berners' Ice Cream parlor, the birthplace of the sundae.
Just before going home we stopped at Point Beach lighthouse for a look.
On July 4th we celebrated in the town of Columbus. We posed with a very patriotic man. Great parade too.
On July 9 we went to visit my husband's dad up north a bit. We also visited to village of Rudolph, very charming town. A stop at Dairy Land Cheese to watch cheese being made and to have ice cream.
Adding salt to the cheese.
After that we went to Rudolph Grotto. Very beautiful there.
