Yesterday's Workout

I meet with my personal trainer once a week since I turned 60. That was my birthday gift to myself. She helps me with whatever goals I'm currently working on. Most recent getting in shape for my August hike JMT - half of it only. When I was there I had an aha moment....over the last year and a half I have gained strength, eat more nutritiously and built endurance. I have reached most of my goals - not all. The one I haven't reached is my goal weight. Do I care yes but do I dwell on it no! Will I celebrate when I reach it - heck YES! So until then I will continue my journey and meet the bumps in the road - slow down - move forward and enjoy the ride! emoticon
