To funny!! and back on track

Friday, July 13, 2012

So yesterday my bf and I were talking and I said, i have been slacking on logging my food and i am going to start back up tomorrow. I also told him that means i am really gonna have to start paying more attention to what he cooks for din din and what he is putting in to our dinners. He was like why? I replied because I have notice that I have some inches back on my tummy that I dont like and im not sure what its from(im still working out 4 to 5 days a week), and I have to start paying more attention. He replied "well you dont like my cooking?" I was like heck no, I luv your cooking but you have to be using some things that are not in my EC diet. Well come to find out he uses salt n more olive oil then I need. Now salt is not bad for you but it makes me retain water and look bloated so I stopped adding extra salt to my meals. Also I cooked with olive oil but not a lot. I mean I maybe used olive oil once or twice a month and tablespoon portions at the most. Well he is using more than tablespoons and he cooks with it two to three times a week. Again Im not saying that is bad, its just not giving me good results. He was so hurt that I told him that I have to cut back on those things. He said he really enjoys cooking for me, but he can't eat blan food. I said well EC foods are not blan and if you want me to eat your dishes than some things are going to have to change. Well by the end of the night he asked for me to print some EC reciepes for him and he will cook those instead.(keep in mind we have been dating for only two months) So yay, we discussed something and i expressed my feelings and he expressed his and it did not turn in to a argument. This was our first discussion of differences we have had and it went pretty smooth. So starting today im back on track and It feels awesome!! thank you for listening!!! emoticon

Maybe he'll discover what I did: Plan cooking challenges creativity with food. It became a game and it has been fun all these years. It's a game where you can eat the results.
