This is probably a really pathetic goal.
But if I'm going to start exercising again, I need to do it in the morning. It's the best time for me if the past has told me anything. I don't have to worry about trying to squeeze it in later in the day when I'm tired, hungry, and irritable. And I don't run the risk of having my day ruined because I can't get my exercise in because something comes up after work and I don't get home when I want.
So, goal is: Get up when alarm clock goes off. (Get up as in Get OUT of bed.)
I tried it this morning. I still slept in another hour, but it's the first day off I've had in months where I haven't slept until noon or later. I didn't get more done, but it was nice to actually be up during the day. It was weird. I'll try again tomorrow. It's a work day though so I'll probably fail.
But I'll keep trying because I'll never go to bed at a decent hour on my days off if I keep sleeping the morning away.
