Ever logged on to Spark People and read a blog that strikes the right tone? " I could have said that", or "that is so me" thoughts pop up in your head? I seem to do that every day! Sometimes, I'm jealous of the easy way some of my Spark Friends blog. Surely, they are more talented than I in that area. Why can't I be gifted?
I have a Facebook friend who's morning post is one of the first things I read. She has a special way of looking at the simplest things and making you ready to meet a challenge with hope and a smile and I am blessed everytime I read something she has written - prose or song - yes, she writes songs and sings like an angel! Sigh! Not me. Why can't I write something inspiring too?
Oh, well, I'm not and I can't. Get away from me little green monster! My daughter got the writer's gift in our family! I'm gifted as a listener - or so I've been told! So I try to read each blog as if the writer was speaking to me. Where I thing a comment is needed, I respond. When the blogger says something that hits home, I let them know. Maybe that's what is needed at the time - I can only hope to be helpful or supportive.
Let's go - use our gifts to help others. Those that can write - keep writing. Those who can listen and support - keep those comments coming. We all like positive feedback!
