It is so difficult to achieve goals when you work 14 hours in a stressful job. One of the biggest challenges is drinking water, since we are prohibited from keeping drinks at our desk. By the time I get home my feet hurt, my brain is drained and the last thing I want to do is cook or exercise. It would be so easy to plop on the couch and grab a quick carryout meal on the way home.
BUT, I am committed and determined to make this work for me. I want more that a temporary weight loss (done the yo-yo bit) I want a life style change that will be permanent. SO... I broil a chicken breast, eat raw broccoli and take the dog for a long walk and tell myself, "YOU GO GIRL!" LOL
