Going into exercise I thought that mentally the mind was the thing that kept me from achieving fitness goals. I realize now that my body is the thing that wants to give up, but if I focus with my mind and not give my body a choice...it will do what I ask! Granted I may not be able to ask it to do unreasonable things, but I am capable of so much more than I thought!
When wanting to quit or think I can't do 6 more lunges or 12 more squats I find a spot, focus and do it! Or sometimes I close my eyes and picture myself doing it and somehow my body follows along.
What a great thing the mind is!
