Got a plan & 'DO THE RIGHT THING'...one of the first steps to developing a healthy lifestyle of eating..it is realistic and I am accountable since I have started with SPARK PEOPLE!!!
Charting my food intake on SPARK NUTRITION GUIDE
(I chose a plan for heart health) It keeps me accountable.
The thing I love about it is that I can see each day by doing the tally of each food item. I see what I am missing out on in my nutrition and make it up by eating those food choices. I am hopeful as I walk through the grocery isle knowing that the foods I put in my cart are those healthy choices!!!
Foods that give me the nutrition I need to be fit; fresh vegetables and fruits plus other healthy foods...

It is important to have these friends to:
~ Be there for me
~ Help me remember why I am doing this and what I hope to accomplish in the long run.
I believe this kind of help is beneficial to me for my 'self control' 'discipline' 'stick-to-it-' whatever you want to call it.
In my case this help comes through my Teams right here on SPARK PEOPLE!! What a blessing to know I can call on them any time
TOPS (Taking Off Sensible) is a local support group where I weigh in weekly.
Another form of support has been my family as they are there for me to support my decision to healthy living. They too are focused, especially I gain a lot of strength for my exercise plan when I see my youngest grand daughter loving her own exercise plan and sticking to it faithfully. My oldest daughter who struggles with parkinson disease is such an inspiration to me. She is realizing her dream in becoming a pilates instructor, with a focus on those who have the same disease as she. We as a family support her...Odie their black lab is the star!
Paws for the Cause ~ Parkinsons!! I do the walk when possible!
