So yesterday was a bit disheartening, but I made it through the fog. I am not letting that stinkin' scale get me down. I woke up and took the kids out for a walk/jog. It is hard for me to maintain the jog when I am pushing the 2 kids in the jogging stroller, but I watched my heart rate closely and made sure that I kept it in my range. I'd walk when I was struggling and it was high and then I'd pick up the jog again when my heart rate had dropped a bit. We went at 8 am, but it was already pretty warm. I was sweating even before we left the driveway! It was a a good workout. The kids were really good. That was the first time that they have been really good on a jog. Normally they argue and cause more trouble and distractions. They must have known that I needed cooperation! My littlest one was sleepy and went down for a nap around 10 so I decided to snatch that opportunity to get in my workout. P90X calls for the Yoga X today. Personally, Yoga is my least favorite thing to do. I really can't stand it. Maybe one day, but right now, it isn't for me. It is so slow and drawn out. Last week I did the Plyometrics instead of Yoga. This week I figured that I would take it easier and do a Jillian Michaels video called kickbox fastfix or something. It is 3 20 minute workouts. I only did the first one since I got my jog in. It was very fast paced. It was the opposite of Yoga! Nice!
Now, to just maintain my eating healthy streak! I wonder how many days I have gone making good choices. I am going to have to go back and see. I am shocked at how well I have done this week. Probably better than I have ever done. Now just to maintain and continue to eat this way. I can do it!
