Yesterday was a very good day! It started off with me stepping on the scale (NOT for my official weigh-in!) but as of yesterday morning I weighed 159.5! A whole two pounds lost?! It's either water weight going away, or I was dehydrated from my run the previous night! Still, it was nice to see that I was back in the 150's!!
My mom came to Zumba again (for the first time in WEEKS!) last night, and then we went out for Mexican with my dad afterward. I confess: I ate the whole plate of food. But I would still have been within my nutritional goals if I hadn't had the margarita...
We ordered a pitcher of margaritas, though, and I only poured myself one 8-oz glass! No second drink for me last night! So it could have been much worse!
Started the day right, with some all-natural pomegranate granola cereal and Greek yogurt. I'm working from home today, but I have a salad ready to go, and I'm looking forward to my after-work run already!
I stopped wafflling and finally signed up for the Wabash Riverfest 5K this Saturday. Even if I have to walk part of it, I'll be burning the calories first thing in the morning, and then I'm paddling in one of the canoe races in the afternoon. So a great, active Saturday already in the works!!
I'm not going to let myself backslide into unhealthy habits again this time. I'll post a blog and/or update my status EVERY DAY to hold myself accountable and stay on track...and this first week, I'm already starting to develop a better routine than I had back in January/February!
