We are home safe and sound! The house has been restocked with healthy food and I spent a good portion of my time last night cutting veges and making lunch for the husband for today. We are, as of today, back on track food wise. i did a 30 min cardio session on my elliptical this morning. I had a session with a personal trainer while on the cape (a free perk when I signed up at the gym) and learned quite a bit about what I need to do to lose my last 15lbs to really show the muscle I have worked so hard to build. So my plan is set, and sadly I willnot be following the LiveFit plan :(. I am grateful for the muscle building, but I am unable to move on to Phase 3 (Ill get into it more in another blog). Also, Im going to be doing some serious research about the low FODMAP diet, Paleo, and GF. The funny thing is that once I stopped taking all my vitamins and restarted my BCP to get my hormones back in line, I felt so much better. Now im worndering if the vitamins I was taking were making me feel worse, so a bit of research there is needed there also...I ll start slow: 1.food/exercise plan 2. Add vitamins 1 at a time and see if I have any reaction.
My goal, for right now is to lose the weight I gained (probably7-8lbs in 2 weeks) by the time we host Madelynnes party on the 21st. So Im focused and going to be strict about weighing and measuring my food, while still trying to maintain muscle mass.
On another note, it feels so good to be home! I have this intense urge to clean/purge the excess stuff because of the mass amount pf clutter that exists in my inlaws house (not my mess, although I would gladly clean it). So today I will spend the day cleaning and unpacking. Mollie (my oldest) has a drs appt to remove her warts on her knee in the afternoon, and then we will have girls night out tonight, so no pressure for me to cook.
I just want to say, I have missed being able to get online daily! I really have enjoyed blogging and reading other peoples blogs for ideas and inspiration. I have missed the comments you all so kindly leave after I vent. I am back, tracking my food, blogging and being present! Thanks for having me :)
