Hi everyone. It was a fast 5 days in Pa. It was good to see my Dad although I was quite shocked to see how much weight he has lost. My brother said he lost 8 pounds since November. He now weighs only 94 pounds. He was happy to see us and my brothers and sister in- laws painted the one wall of his carport. The outside wall needed painting and it really looks nice now. Of course they did it Saturday when it was 100 degrees in NE Pa. We had wonderful pizza for lunch and then we drove back to my brother's which is about 2.5 hours away.

My brother took me to see a wonderful Sight & Sound production of Jonah . It was the scripture story of Jonah and his time in the whale's stomach. The costumes, scenery and music were all wonderful. Last year he took me to see Joseph, and his technicolor coat. Sight & Sound has productions all year of different characters of the Bible. They really make the stories come alive. After they leave Pa they go to Branson, Missouri.

Of course, since they live in Amish country we ate at an Amish restaurant and I had shoo fly pie for desert. It is so rich and so full of sugar and calories but worth every one! I also had home made blueberry ice cream while I was visiting.

Now it's back to reality and back to my program of Curves and staying on point with my WW program. It's fun to go away, but it's also good to be home again with Arjay and Max.

I have posted new pictures in my gallery and on my Spark page. Enjoy!

As much as I love visiting others, I am always glad to be home again.

It is always great to get back home but sounds like you had a wonderful time. I live in SE PA and you probably weren't too far from me when you were in Amish country.
