I have been looking for some family history on my dad and found some info on when he was born and the date he died I am still searching my family roots because I have a great aunnt who help bring the hard wheat to Newton, kansas i am going to continue my search about my ancestors. emoticon emoticon

    Awesome - I would love to do that, but I too have heard it can become addictive! I have only retired this year - March - so getting used to not working .... maybe soon. I have heard of a site called ancestry.com which I may investigate. emoticon

    According to my mom, it can be very addicting! She volunteers at our local genealogy society and helps people find info about their ancestors. Good luck on your search!

  Good for you as some of us would love to know where we've come from. A good source is the birth and death certificates as it provided his mom and dad's names and date of birth! Good luck to you as this is also something to be left for your children. emoticon emoticon emoticon
