Hump Day

Wednesday, July 11, 2012

Last night was a litle rough. I was hungrier than usual and really tired. I'm not sure if it was from my run or something else. I made it to dinner after some dry roasted almonds. I'm a little curious if my coffee may have something to do with my fatigue and also some moodiness I've been feeling. I am going to switch to tea for a few days and see how I feel. I know that I have previously cut out coffee when doing a simliar diet and had amazing energy. I'm not sure if it's connect, but it's worth trying.

I am doing a great job sticking to my diet. We have pastries or bagels each Wed. at work and I normally cannot resist. I can see and smell them from my desk right now and am having no problem resisting. :)

I am planning a strength workout, legs, today. I am excited to start my new routine.

LOL! The last two jobs I've had have been all about junk. I worked at an ice cream company for 5 years and now at a video game company. I have a candy jar on my desk with most of my favorite candy at all times. (I'm the office manager) Normally I can't resist sweets - hence the need for weightloss :) but the last couple days I've felt more in control of my choices than usualy. Very good feeling.

Good job on resisting the bagels and pastries. emoticon
I hope that when I'm around that stuff I can resist. Luckily so far I have been spared :-)

You can see them??? And you aren't drooling? Feels powerful, doesn't it?

I'm the chick who eats a package of gummi worms 4 worms at a time because I only want the one serving. Pastries and bagels I am not sure if I could resist if I could see them and smell them.

Yesterday was a weird day for fatigue. I went for a 2 mile walk in the AM so I would die from heat stroke, but I fell asleep at 3 pm and didn't wake until 8 pm!! I NEVER sleep during the day.

I really think the heat has been affecting people and tiring them out when they normally wouldn't be.

I love that you are resisting. You are a strong woman!

If coffee might affect your mood, why not try some tea?
