I've set myself a goal to be getting up at 8am again. Since I moved, my schedule has been all sorts of crazy. I'm sure that part of it is because I have the summer off, another part is that my roommates are night people, and the third is that I have gotten into a bad habit.
I get so much more done when I get up in the mornings. Every day over the past week, I have gotten up half an hour earlier. This is not saying much, as I'm only up at 10am now. Yes, it got pretty bad. I like getting up before my roomies b/c I can get so much done. I am getting a good system in place. I feel I am able to accomplish that much more when I get up earlier.
My body also seems to function better when I get up at a decent time in the morning. Part of it is because I go to bed earlier. Call me crazy, but I really do feel I get better sleep if I'm sleeping before midnight.
In the next few days I should be able to be back to my old schedule.
