Lost another pound! Down 3 pounds so far!
Started 6/24 and it is now 7/11, so that is 1.5 pounds /week!
Yes, it is probably the water weight that I had taken on during my period a week ago, but I just need to stay extra vigilant regarding what I eat.
This week I have realized that I have eaten lunch or dinner out as friends are keeping me company while my son is away at camp. I love it that you can google almost ANY restaurant menu ahead of time so that you can make your dinner decision WAY before ever stepping in the restaurant itself!
Lunch at the Purple Pig yesterday downtown Chicago (one of Chicago's hottest new eateries) was amazing! However, was thankful i had looked at the menu first and also skipped the wine and dessert! :) I am also sure that it helped to walk several miles around downtown too.
Today I took a pic of myself in work out clothes (running bra without tank and shorts) straight on and a side shot. I want to document my progress after every 10 pounds lost. For right now, I am not comfortable posting them...it will take me some time...for now I placed these pics on my bathroom wall along with some motivational thoughts to keep me going. I am also going to find a healthy weight pic to place next to my "before" photo for the inspiration of the size I want to be.
Was very glad I started back on the C25K training again this morning! Running in 78 degree weather even with 72% humidity is easier than what I tried to do one day last week!!! When each day was 90+
It is amazing how motivated I can become after seeing the scale go DOWN in numbers!!! I intend to keep this momentum going.
