knowing your limits

Wednesday, July 11, 2012

Monday I went to the beach and had a glorious day but we got back very late. Then their was unpacking the car, my lunch to make for work, dishes, wash etc. you get it too much without help. I went to bed much later than usual.

Yesterday after work their were library books to return, baby shower clothes to buy. And a lot of housework that needed to be done. Guess who went to bed way late again?

Guess who is so tired that they can cry this morning.? I am not telling you this story so you can feel sorry for me. Why then? Because I bet there is a whole boat load of you with me. Overtired and overworked. We can't always get help . That would be nice, but sometimes families are clueless.

So I am asking you to learn and know your limits. I have to work on this. Just walking away from housework when i am over tired over worked, or over stressed. If you don't get a full nights sleep than you are useless and that is a horrible feeling your body needs to recharge when you sleep.

Know your limits don't step over and you are on your way to more energy and a happier you.!!!

You are so right about the lack of sleep, yet somehow I still think I can do it all on inadequate sleep. Thanks for this great reminder.

Yeah, I have the same problem. The thing is if I just left a few of the chores then one of my flatmates would pick it up, but I just have to do everything NOW. And then I get in a strop because I have to do everything myself...logical.
