Creative Exercise? Really?

Have you ever had to be creative about getting your exercise?? I was really tested this weekend in that area but I made it through.

Saturday I had planned that I would be getting my exercise walking at the zoo. Well, let's just say that I never made it to the zoo. Yes folks, it is a long yet interesting story. Unfortunately, it makes me mad just thinking about it. I didn't get to walk but late that night, I danced with Marlie.

Sunday, the heat was turned up - WAY up so my husband wanted to get out of the house. I thought we might be going for a little drive but we ended up at the casino. After being there for a while I realized that I hadn't done any exercise. It also looked like getting my husband to go home was going to be work in itself! So I took the bull by the horn and walked all over that casino. I walked around the machines, the table games, around and around until I had walked at a pretty good pace for 35 minutes. I sure felt good about it. I didn't care what other people thought. I have a goal to get to and I needed to complete my exercise.

The heat isn't supposed to be going away anytime soon so I have been doing my exercise at night before bed. Not the best plan but I am getting it done. I haven't been able to take a walk because of the heat. I have been feeling sick from the heat the last few days but I am sticking to my plan.

    Girl, get it in where you can get it in at. That's what I'm talking about.
I go to wal-mart just to get a workout in. I will power walk that store and target. The store I hate...Call me nuts, but I don't like target at all. Anyway! Good for you hun, and hey. That's a way to get a workout in during the summer heat. Try the mall and walk the mall. I have friends who goes to the mall to walk a few laps... I think its cool how they do it. The walk the 1st floor first- 2 laps, and then the 2nd floor 2 laps... A friend told me when they walk the mall they get in 4 miles. I'm going to have to try the madness...

    good for you! i agree...the heat can really ruin workout plans for sure. that's just so awesome that you took that time for you even when you were out with the hubby. three cheers!

    Good for you! You should take it easier in the heat. Is it possible to go mall walking or swimming? At least it would give you a chance to cool off.

REMEMBER TO TRACK DAILY YOUR FOOD AND FITNESS TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE.
