I took my daughter to a Victorian Girl's Camp at a local museum (which we love) this morning. She was there for 5 hours (I got to shop while she had fun at camp) and had a blast. It was only $30 and I think it was well worth it. She learned Victorian etiquette, had an English tea party, learn to dance like they did during that time period, wrote with a quill pen (they got to take it home), did needle point (they received a kit to take home), churned butter, etc.
Every time we go to this museum I get complimented on my children's manners, which makes me so incredibly happy.

Nothing makes me happier.
While she was there I decided to go to JC Penny and while there I found a dress for me for get this................
$11! How crazy is that? It was the only one left and it was in my size although it was a little big on me. For $11 I'll live with a little big.
I decided to look in the jewelry section while I was there and I found some cute Decree brand necklaces marked down to $3 each. I grabbed the two cutest ones and when I checked out I was told that they were $1 instead!!!!
You know I had to go back and grab a few more that I thought were cute for that price!!!
I then went to Ross Dress for Less where I tried on some clothes but only found one maxi dress (I don't have one of those, so was very happy about finding it) for only $16.99!!
After all that shopping I needed to get something to eat so thankfully I had packed a few things to take with me (Greek yogurt and strawberries) and spent $1.70 on some Wendy's chili (I had my own drink from home too).
I packed a lunch for my daughter as well to take to camp and she also got snacks and home made lemonade and English tea (which she hated, LOL) while there, so although I paid money for things today, I feel I did them as frugally as possible.
My last stop before picking up my daughter was Wal-Mart where I bought some very boring, every day items, but I used 5 coupons (got a 3-bar pack of Ivory soap for 24 cents) and price matched my milk for $2.77, which is very cheap around here.
