Iím walking a fine line with a good emphasis on quantity of fitness minutes for the Teddy Bear Team while eating a little too often at the high-end of my calorie range. In the month (30 days) since my last blog, the Summer 5% Challenge reminds me to incorporate all the healthy living habits. I enjoy a smaller plate for most of my meals, and continue to track my food and fitness enjoying breakfast, water, freggies, and fiber -- all great elements of healthy living.

emoticon FAITH: Spend 15 minutes daily in the study of Godís word, knit two or three prayer shawls with each 5% challenge (8-12 wks), and honor God by making faith an active verb. I am blessed to have many fine people and SparkFriends who I should imitate. I get to relax at my cousin's home and make progress on my knitting.


Ecclesiastes 10:18: If a man is lazy, the rafters sag; if his hands are idle, the house leaks. From Hebrews 6:12: W e do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised.

emoticon FAMILY and FRIENDS: Spend quality time (be present) with family and friends weekly. Listen better. Contribute heartily to the weekly healthy living challenges (daily participation with very good numbers). emoticon FOOD: Maintain a healthy BMI . Daily: Track, eat six or more freggies, drink 12+ waters, meet 4-7 recommend levels of: calories, fat, carbohydrates, protein, fiber, calcium, and sodium. Photo Key:: Onion rings (#1), Thai food (#2), and Kale and Rhubarb Confetti Salad (#3) when shared, can fit into a recommended calorie range. Dr Oz recommends a high protein (egg) breakfast for people who store fat in the belly area. I often make an egg sandwich or wrap with yogurt and berries (4).









emoticon FITNESS: Track and average 60+ minutes daily. Sleep 7-9 hrs a night six days a week. Photo Key: Walk the Osaugie Trail (#1-4); visit the beach with friends (#5-6) walking two miles barefoot (I donít walk barefoot); and walk the trail to at Amnicon to Snake Pit Falls (#7).















emoticon FUN: Do something fun at least three times weekly. By now, many of you know that I tend to find joy just about everything I photograph.     Awhhh my sweet friend I always revel in your beautiful blogs and pics. You DO live the GOOD life and I am always so very inspired by how much you radiate that joy. You are so supportive of your sparkling friends and we ALL just love you to the moon and back!

I'm SO mad at myself that I didn't realize you were so close to me here in SW FL...in fact it bums me out to the ninth degree.
