No more hiding!

Monday, July 09, 2012

I have been hiding my weight for years. Mostly from myself by not taking pictures and not looking in the mirror. I am finished hiding behind big clothes and wearing lots of black clothing. I will face my weight by setting goals including tracking daily (staying in the 1200-1400 calorie range) and getting regular exercise.

Putting this picture on my page is a step in the right direction.

Good for you! You've got courage which will serve you well. If you've got the courage to look at yourself and your choices honestly then you certainly have the courage to make the choices you want to make.

Good for you!!! Major high fives to you. And honestly - that's a very nice picture. You look lovely. Though I know it takes serious cojones to post public photos of yourself when you don't care for how you look in the photos. (I mean, you can check out my page - I cut my head off all the photos, partly for internet security but partly out of embarrassment - some of my before photos are AWFUL.)

Anyways, way to come out of hiding and be proud of the journey you're taking! :)

Nice picture. Good for you wearing pink and getting away from black. I spent years hiding also..wearing black and loose clothes.

Enjoy color and your life. You can do it.

Great! Good for you! I actually went outside in a tank top today in order to sit 10 minutes in the sun to catch some vitamin D. Your picture is very nice. I hope you'll continue to proud of your body no matter what the size, as you Spark! emoticon
