Today was a good day food wise. I am still struggling with sugar cravings. I joined the sweet tooth challenge yesterday so I am trying my best to stick with it and follow the challenge. I find that if I am able to complete this challenge it will show me that I can really do this. I'm tired of failure and thinking I can't change my lifestyle. Yes, I know I am young. That is exactly why I am doing this. I want to be healthy and not have to have health issues this early in my life. This morning I had fruit salad for breakfast and about a cup and a half of chocolate milk. I also had a bagel with cream cheese which I probably should of stayed away from but I was really hungry. For lunch I had some home-made pasta salad and I just got home so I nibbled on some salmon and now I am having some soup for dinner. After lunch I also splurged a little on a can of Dr. Pepper. I am noticing now that I actually consume a lot of sugar so tomorrow and for the rest of the week there will be no more pops or sugared drinks. I am going to cut those out. I also am going to try not to buy anything on my breaks such as the bagel I bought today. I am going to try substituting green tea for coffee and other drinks and see how that goes.
