Off to the workshop...

Monday, July 09, 2012

It is almost 6.30 int the morning and I am driving to town to stand in line in front of that workshop before seven... the car has behaved impeccably all weekend so the temptation to let it be is there... but that is just postponing the cost and increasing the danger of suddenly not getting anywhere a busy morning...

Daughters friends arrived yesterday and they are all in the "clubhouse" sleeping now - it is a little house in my back yard that is perfect to sleep in if you are children and want to talk all night...

It rained on our show for the first time yesterday, showers came but none to heavy while we were playing outside so I guess it worked rather well, good to know since we are having many shows left this season. We had a full house whoch was scary since my voice was cracking and I was afraid not to be able to go thotough with it. But it worked and now I am happy to be able to rest the vocie for five days until next weekend when the show is on again.

Came hiome and snacked on a bag with chips - deliberately I had sweated so much and thought I needed some salty stuff with the liquid - had two litres at night.

Off to the workshop!

I wonder if anybody films your shows and puts them on youtube, lots of stuff seems to end up on there. I would like to see the show but am not going to make it to Sweden! It's nice that your daughter's friends got to come stay with her.

I want to eat, but I'm not going to. It's 4:15 pm and I'll be leaving work soon, but I'm tired and feel like eating.

Brings back memories. We had one of those "little houses" in the back yard when our kids were growing up also. We built it out of lumber and siding left over on our construction sites. Kids had a blast staying out there.

    Sounds like a positive weekend!

Good luck with your car, hope it isn't too complicated or expensive a repair.

Sounds like a good weekend - daughter and friends are happy - the show went well and your voice lasted so you're happy. Just hope you're happy about the car later. Well done for going to the workshop - I'm so-o good at postponing those things as I squeeze the last bit out of my 'working' car in the hopes that the problem will magically disappear. Never does - just leads to trouble and inconvenience as you say.
Good luck with it
