I have really begun to think about what I want in life. I have read blogs about what happens after you lose the weight. Losing the weight doesn’t change your life, it changes your body. So while I am working to lose the weight to increase myself worth, I think it is also important to work toward my other goals. So I have developed a list of my goals:
-I want my shirts to sit flat and not have a roll from my stomach. I never remember this being the case and it is possibly my number one goal!
- I want my arms to be toned enough that I feel comfortable wearing a sleeveless shirt.
-I want to feel comfortable with my own body.
-I want to like what I see.
-I want to be comfortable in a group.
-I want to love me.
-I want to make decisions based on my wants not someone else’s.
-I want to have the courage to say no.
-I want to value myself above others.
-I want to fall in love.
-I want to get married.
-I want to have children.
-I want to travel the world.
-I want to own my own home.
-I want to feel content.
-I want a career that allows me to have nights and weekends off.
- I want a career that allows me to afford the lifestyle I currently live.
-I want to LOVE going to work.
-I want to be challenged in my career.
- I want to learn how to use a comma…. I mean seriously where do you put them? Two bachelor’s degrees and still am missing this basic concept.
I plan to keep updating this list. It is crazy when you sit and realize that the weight is really just one minor thing in your life but I feel as though it controls everything.
