Woke up at 9am today feeling a lot better, having been up a couple of times in the night, coughing. The cats were less than gruntled at being woken up by me putting the light on and put their paws over their eyes. They did not, however, move apart from that.
Didn't have the energy to track food properly today, let alone exercise but got up and watched telly and surfed the net. Also started writing a letter to my favourite aunt. She has had to move into a nursing home (she's in her 80s) which is upsetting for everyone who knows her, she's always been very outgoing and sociable so it's hard to see this as a positive for her, but there are hopes she'll get well enough to move into ordinary sheltered housing.
I'm so impressed by the motivation of people on Sparkpeople. There's very little talk about backsliding, it's all go-go-go. I feel quite caught up by it. I love the way it's multifaceted: it's not just about weight loss or exercise, it's a whole lifestyle choice. Be the person you ought to be. Here's a scene to inspire anyone: I took it in the Luberon area of Provence
