    I know THAT feeling where you're hurting, yet keep running.... I just thought today: Man, I was so lucky that i felt to good for the last 2 months and today, the leg pain was back--- just like that. Like it was playing a joke on me.
    I think a Spring Tri might be a cool idea- because you are not just running, yet you are still running and you are keeping it a little competititve all at once. Having a goal---- and something exciting to look forward to.
    Anyways, it's all about being fit and active and having fun with the kid- he definitely looks super athletic... and just think about how proud he'll be of you for sticking it out for him, hehe.

    H is getting so big!!

    I love to run for the mental benefit, but most of the time, my runs suck. I just know I feel better when they are done, so I push through. But at least 90% of them are unpleasant.

    If your runs aren't fun any more, I recommend trying the Galloway method. I know quite a few people who got the enjoyment back that way: run-walk-run. There are several Galloway teams here on SparkPeople. May be a group in your town. Google Jeff Galloway's site to check it out.
