We just got back from a week long vacation with the kids. I didn't get in nearly as much exercise as I wanted but did manage to eat pretty well. I was so looking forward to hiking in Banff but it was not to be - little buddy threw a tired fit & we had to go home. Sigh. Maybe next time.
So, I wasn't expecting much, hoping for a slight gain, and I actually lost another pound. So that puts me down 14 pounds total. I can't believe it in a way - aren't you supposed to gain weight on vacation?
I celebrated my scale victory with a 6.5 mile run this morning - first one all week - and I feel amazing. We did tons of walking and swimming on vacation but alas, running was not on the agenda. Oh well, back to routines this week. Of course I'm having to completely alter that routine now that it's 90 million degrees out. Guess it's back to running at 5:00 and 6:00 a.m. until September!
