So, for us DONE Girls involved in the Red Hot Heartbreakers Challenge, I posed this mini-challenge this weekend called "For the Body I Want":

To write a blog for yourself about your body goals, current measurements, and current photo to have to compare at the end of the challenge. A lot of people don't take photos very often as they are apparently afraid of the camera, but forget that... I LOVE to have up-to-date photos so I can SEE the changes, even if the scale is being male (as usual being rude, not doing what we tell it, and just plain lying to us!!!!) and doesn't show them or my "inches" seem off. Last challenge I lost more than 10 inches over my body and 23 pounds! WooHoo!!! :) And, even with that change, it says my waist stayed the same.. lol Great motivation to see that my hard work was paying off!

Since joining SP, I have lost 80 pounds! You can definitely see the difference in my first DONE Girl pic and my current one:

YAY! Just for the record, that is 280,000 calories that I either burned off or didn't ingest. Umm... heck yeah!!!!! :)

True story... LOL!

In this blog, I also asked the girls to post body-inspiration photos from online or people they just found impressive or had the body shape that they are aiming for, so that later, we can look at them and be proud we are getting close to that, giggle that we thought THAT was where we wanted to be, or be inspired to keep on keepin' on! :)

I know this girl would appear "thick" or "curvy" or whatever to some people and over THEIR ideal, but this girl looks PERFECT to me. She is very sexy and I can dream to look like her one day if I wanna.. :p hehe

Kelly Clarkson.. people call her "fat" all the time. If she is fat, that is the sort of fat I would love to be. Just sayin'. I volunteer for that! :)

I don't think I will ever have a flat stomach like her, but she has amazing legs and core strength and I dont know why but this photo really inspires me...

Never say never, right? :) LOL

ALSO, I asked for the to look at their eating habits and see/feel if they are eating for the body they have or the body they WANT... and to step outside of their comfort zone and do something crazy this weekend to shake up their workout. For that, I tried Turbo Jam for the first time (yesterday on my birthday. Yes, my gift to myself was sweat.. I love myself for it, too! hehe). I am also going to try a new yoga workout and a few other workouts within the coming week. I have new workout DVDs I haven't even tried yet and some I borrowed from the library, I better get busy! hehe

So... basically what this is saying is that, when we are out with our friends, we let them lead our decisions or we just "accept" what everyone else is doing or even the "easy" way out... and that's not okay also! I have seen that happen to me a few times but I usually just opt for water and a kid's menu. You don't have to not eat ANYTHING when you go out, just make healthy choices! And don't be allergic to fruits and veggies! They have essential vitamins we all need each day!

What you put into your body changes how you feel, how you perceive food, how well you sleep, etc... Choose wisely!

Admit it, this looks 20982039483 times better than a bowl of Doritos *gag*

The TRUE rainbow tastes WAY better than Skittles... Really! And REAL food is much more filling than the junk we aren't supposed to be eating anyway!

See? Evidence! Yummy stuff takes up more space and you FEEL full while the other is just.. there.

Make great choices and TRY to think about your journey before you feel like this:

Not everyone is born pre-determinded (genetically) to being "skinny", but all of us can TRY to be FIT! :)

Honestly, I just don't care HOW I look doing ANYTHING. The fact that I am DOING it speaks volumes for ME! YAY!

    I LOVED the picture of the "men's ideal/women's ideal." Maybe because I am a size twelve, so it's nice to be "ideal."
But also because of the blatant difference between what men perceive as "beautiful" and what women perceive as "beautiful." Granted, we should be on this journey for ourselves, not for what other people think, but that will always affect us--it's hard to ignore what other people think.

It probably is also focused on women's ideal for THEMSELVES, not women's ideal for other women. I wonder if that number would change?

    Love as usual- Love the pictures.. I never know where to go about finding pictures to use as inspiration- I do agree- stick skinny may work for some people, but that aint me! Never will I have always had hips and thicker thighs but THIS much thick is not what i had in mind.

    My body image is so confused. I have lost 35 pounds and look at other women and try to guess if my body looks similar, larger or smaller? Still no clue. Sometimes I think I look better and other times, especially when I look in the mirror, all I see are the flaws. Right now I am thankful for the inner improvements and that I had the ability to stay on track for more than 3 months. My pants size has gone down and my feet hurt less. More reasons to keep on going. I love your inspiration pictures and attitude. Getting there one day at a time.
