sigh. it's another night. late. now, in my "normal" night, being up in the middle of the night is... normal. for me. i work from midnight to 6 a.m., the hours that sweden is in the office. but when i am in sweden, i have to adjust to being up in the day and *sleeping* at night. and jet lag does not make it easy. i know it is one week. then it's over. how ironic that the challenge for the coming week in the 5% summer challenge is to get enough sleep! maybe by wednesday. or maybe you can count naps during the day. but it's really really annoying to be sitting here, yet another 2 a.m., for no reason other than the fact that my body doesn't seem to understand that this is the time that normal people... sleep.
and without sleep, it's hard to do other things. you have to be careful not to have too many meals. and what meal is it, anyway? good thing i am tracking so that i don't lose control of my calories.
without sleep, no running. it's a rule we made long ago - nothing strenuous until caught up on sleep; too many injuries, including trips to the ER for stitches because of stoopid things that happened during jet lag week. i had hoped to finally run on saturday; not sure that will happen unless i can actually fall asleep sometime before morning (in my "normal" schedule i sleep from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m., but that has not been happening here).
sigh. sleep... i could use some. may as well get some work done, though...
