I feel very fortunate, because I have "diet friends." Diet friends are the friends who know what it means to try to change eating and exercise habits, who are rooting for you and who do things to make it easy for you. They're usually people who have been on the same journey. The best ones are the ones who have been somewhat (or a lot!) successful on that journey.
My diet friends are Mark and Jennifer (28JENNIFER28). They have both been on Weight Watchers for a while; Jennifer has reached her goal, and Mark is almost there. They both look and feel great and are the best inspiration for someone like me. I have a long way to go, but so did they! But they are living, breathing proof that it is possible.
They came over for dinner last night and I made one of my favorite SP recipes (Slow-Cooker Chicken Enchiladas). When Jennifer asked if she could bring something, I asked her to bring some sort of light, fruity dessert. So for dessert we had light, thin crepes with organic yogurt and fresh berries. Delicious and healthy!
I love my diet friends!
