FitBit Ultra, July Goals, and a Doctor's Appointment

Fun stuff right there!

Well, it's been awhile. What can I say? I have been depressed about my weight. I have some serious health issues going on, and I've been under a lot of stress at work. Something is up with me, and I'm out of my groove.

I haven't lose ANY weight in 9 months. In fact, I've gained 20 lbs. officially. What's really concerning is I've gained 10 lbs. in nearly two weeks time. This may have something to do with my health issues which I'll explain later.

Good news. I'm getting back on track with tracking food and eating more fruits and veggies.

Good news. I got a FitBit Ultra which I'm really going to try and dedicate myself to. I'm also really interested in its ability to track my sleep patterns. I wonder what it will tell me. I got it this afternoon and went out for a walk. Can you believe that I went out for a walk in 105 degree weather? I was excited about it. I didn't get to track all day, but I made my stair-step goal for the day.

I'm really going to try to push for the usual 10,000 steps a day, as well as the stair-stepping goals. I'm really hoping this will help me get back on track.

July Goals:

10,000 daily steps
10 stair/floors per day
Overall-hoping for 5 lbs. of weight loss

Bad news. I went to the doctor today to address some gastrointestinal issues that I've been having over the past 9 months.

This includes:

rectal bleeding, vomiting, nausea, bloody stools, abdominal pain, fatigue, headaches, discomfort

The doctor did a finger check--found a single, tiny hemorrhoid, which shouldn't be causing THIS much of an issue. So, I am scheduled to see a gastroenterologist on the 27th to get scoped. Not looking forward to it, but wish it was sooner so that I could stop freaking out.

I'm really hoping it's just a stomach ulcer due to all of the stress I've been under. Praying it's not something worse, but trying not to think about it.

This MIGHT be the cause of some of my weight gain. Not all of it, because I know I've been eating poorly.

I'm just hoping for some answers.

Hope everything turns out ok at the doctor!

I have a FitBit and love it. I was amazed to see my sleep pattern (and amazed to see how many times I wake up during the night, no wonder I'm tired!) I love that it works with Endomondo and other fitness programs. I love to see the flower grow. I also love how small it is!

    Have a great day!
