Eating Chocolate

I went running at 6am this morning. It wasn't as beautiful as yesterday morning but I still was motivated and took my dog. He enjoys long walks and runs and of course he loves to run after deer-so i can't let him off the leash. Sometimes it can be fun-haha- especially when you are running and out of the blue your dog decides to stop or turn around. And sometimes he even thinks he has to stop right in front of you and you almost fall over him. It happened like two ro three times this morning, but fortunately, I didn't fall and hurt myself, so I made it home safe.
I noticed that when you exercise you pay so much more attention to what you eat and it really make you feel full faster. I usually go working out before eating because I know food just make my sides hurt and make me quit and when I get home I just dont feel as hungry as I felt before I left. I just keep drinking more water which is a good thing. I have been struggling with getting enough water but working out early and of course th heat is helping to solve that problem. I think I had like 4 glasses in the morning.
Tonight I walked on the same trail as I did this morning, but i didn't run. I just felt like I couldn't stay in the house any more. It was still kinda hot, but the sun wasn't burning that bad. When I got back I talked to my mom for a bit and had 5 pieces of chocolate. I wasn't craving it, i just saw it laying there and had some. It tasted so good, but ironically not as good as I remembered. It actually made me feel sick like 30minutes after eating it. Maybe my body is just getting used to eat healthier and doesn't need all the sugar to work during stressful times. I know i won't have any chocolate anytime soon.
Ok, that was a sleepy blog. Getting up that early makes me want to go to bed earlier, too. So good night to everyone emoticon emoticon

    I had the same thing happen on 4th of July. I have been off sugar and white flour for quite some time... I made a brunch (which was a heavier breakfast than I have been having... usually it's a fruit smoothie with protein powder and ground flax seed and lots of water... ) and then we had hot dogs and white flour hot dog buns... etc., for dinner... I felt so crappy after eating the hot dogs... tired, crabby... and the bun tasted like nothing. I also had one small homemade chocolate chip cookie that my Mom baked for the celebration. I was within my calorie range... but, even it didn't taste like I remembered the tasting.

I guess the long we eat the fruits, vegetables, nut and seeds and stay away from refined foods the more the refined foods move to the background.

p.s. I have 3 dogs... when I take them for a walk they do the same thing... stop right in front!
